Today I bring you my first of the June boxes in the format I mentioned a few days ago – I still can’t believe I got an entire month behind! Anyway, this is the second of the Total Beauty Collections.Total Beauty Collection is different than the other sample subscriptions in that it is not really a subscription. You get notified that a new “Collection” is out the email tells you what brands are included. You then can click on the link and see more specific information on the products included. Then you can purchase it. If you don’t like it you don’t have to buy it. You will not be automatically billed for it. The down side is it can sell out and you don’t have any way of ensuring you get it.

I’ve had a chance to use and review all of the products from April and decide on how much I liked them. So now it is time to do my bag wrap up.

In case you don’t remember, here is a summary of the Awesomeness level:

Box Awesomeness Level Review (AL)

  • 5 points for an item that surpasses everything else I’ve tried and becomes my #1 choice for what role it fulfills
  • 4 points for an item that becomes added to my permanent collection of cosmetics and I will repurchase
  • 3 points for an item that joins my “I might buy this again” list
  • 2 points for an item I finished or will finish the entire sample of but in the end decided not to re-purchase
  • 1 point for an item that I tried and immediately threw out/gave away
  • 0 points if the item was a duplicate of something from a previous bag/box/kit that only scored a 1 in that box – meaning I knew enough to not even bother with trying it.

Blinc Tubing Mascara – Review July 10, 2012

Today I bring you the blinc tubing mascara that I received in my May Total Beauty Box. This mascara is a polymer that coats your lashes all the way around  with a tube and is supposed to stay on all day even if you go swimming, cry, or workout. 

This sounds like a revolutionary product….does it hold up?

Studio Gear Complete Color Lipstick – Review

Today I bring you the Studio Gear Complete Color Lipstick that I received in my May MyGlam Bag. Unfortunately because I moved I have managed to lose that particular sample. I tested it but forgot to write which color I received (If I find it I will update it). The color itself was a nice deep rose. The formula of this one was a cream. It went on smooth and stayed for a decent amount of time. There wasn’t any bleeding.

Overall it was a pretty nice lipstick.

Would I buy this product again? Probably not, while it was nice, there are others I prefer and because it isn’t readily available near me it just doesn’t make sense to be a go-to product.

Will I finish the sample? Haha, if I find it again I will keep using it.

Like I need another Palette

Guys, I’m sorry, but I got an email from Urban Decay about this new smokey eye palette and I bought it. In a week or two I’ll get it and I’ll make you read the review. Sorry again – hope you don’t hate me for it.

Naked Princess Shine Luscious Lip Gloss – Review July 8, 2012

Today I bring you the Naked Princess Shine Luscious Lip Glosses that I received in the May Look Bag. There were four of these mini glosses in 4 nice and neutral colors.  Each has a tiny doe foot applicator

The glosses are glossy but only a tiny bit stickey and felt very moisturizing. The colors looked gorgeous on my lips too.

I really did enjoy these glosses.

Would I buy this product again? I’m not sure. The full size glosses are similar in price to Urban Decay and Stila glosses which I think I like more.

Will I finish this sample? Yes the glosses are definitely nice enough to keep using.
