Beauty Army’s first ever exclusive product was launched this month and was available in the April kits. I happened to choose it, and realized it was totally new when I tried to find pricing to give you in my initial impressions post. I’ve since gotten the information and it is now also available on the Beauty Army site to purchase the full size product. What product is this, you ask?
It is the Indie Lee – The Body Lotion in Lemongrass. Indie Lee has created two versions of this product, one which is without an added fragrance, and the other which is the lemongrass exclusively for Beauty Army.
This medium thick white cream goes on smoothly and smells like lemongrass tea (if you’ve ever smelled that – if not think lemon and earthy smell). It leaves a slightly waxy feel which is just the ingredients sealing in the moisturizing benefits of this cream.
This is a nice light moisturizer. If you need something intensive this will not do it. It adds a little moisture, but will not cure the winter peeling rough skin that some people experience. Indie Lee does have a body balm that should be better for problem skin – I haven’t tried it yet though, but Nancy Lee has…anyway, The Body Lotion, is refreshing and nice. I’d recommend it for someone who just wants a little boost to their skin’s moisturizer.
Will I buy this again? Probably not, I have so much body lotion and I really do love the stuff from Fortune Cookie soap…
Will I finish the sample? Yep, it is in my desk drawer at work and I use it a few times a day on my hands and arms.
